I agree with this thread whole-heartedly. With specific regard to Symphony in H....it's nothing special. Like at all. I don't know if it's just me but it has sort of a Middle-Eastern-ish, flute-y vibe to it with that clippity-clap drum pattern that I oh so despise. Borderline rudimentary if you ask me. Em's production used to be so cinematic and super melodic. No idea what the hell happened.

That is entirely different and I completely agree to an extent.
With Em and Dre overseeing production I think his next album could be awesome. Having said that, I still think Em is working in a largely outdated phase of rap music where albums were more a collection of songs than a conceptual work of art. His previous albums have been cohesive in parts, but overall they lack a cinematic feel. Dre did a good job overseeing GK: MC, so hopefully that knowledge will transcend into Em's album.

Dr Dre didn't do anything for Kendrick and he only produced 3 songs on The Eminem Show.

What people don’t know is Kendrick's been making this album for the past 10 or 12 years and the album isn't called 'A short film by Kendrick Lamar' for nothing. Eminem and Kendrick aren't 50 Cent and The Game, ya'll need to stop giving props to Dr Dre for everything.

You clearly read that article wrong. It has been 10-12 years in the making only in concept. Kendrick had established how he wanted the album to sound, and told his producers exactly how he wished their beats to sound. That is awesome as it allows him to tailor the album to how he wishes. It works in the same way that Eminem used the Bass Brother's for.
Regarding Dre, I do not like to give him the props you accuse me of, however as an executive producer for GK: MC, I do not think it wise to doubt his creative input for which the longevity of his career has allowed him to establish.
