How has Eminem changed your life?

Eminem, gave me a since of rebellion.
To this day, I look at him as a father figure.
I never had one so I was able to relate to him.
Growing up, he was the coolest person ever to me.
My hero, If I had to count all the minutea I've listened to him, it would probably equal to a good chunk of my life.
It allowed me to see getting bullied, or looked down on as me being special, and actuly cool.
Because no matter how many kids had friends, or things I didn't, I knew if listened to him, I would be reminded that my idol felt the same. He thought me that it's okay to be angry, that it's okay to be weird, make stupid jokes, and gave me a bit of his vile humour. He thought me how important being a father is, and how good I could be considering I never had one. He showed me how powerful expressing myself in my own way is, and how alone he is. And how much I could relate. Because of his music, I've laughed, Cried, and felt inspired. No matter how many people tried to knock him down, he kept at it. There are many more ways, he has changed my life.

Well I've been listening to his music consistently for 15 years now, through my teenage years and into adulthood, being married and now almost a father. Through every hardship, being broke, shitty jobs, and now where I'm at with a good job and a decent looking horizon. Through every friend along the way and all the memories, all the trouble we got in and the dumb things we did. He didn't exactly change my life, he enhanced it and was with me through my transformation as a kid to a self-sustaining man, I suppose just as he did with his rap career. The one thing he changed was when My Name Is dropped...that shit was DARK in a way gangster rap could never reach. It opened my eyes to darkness and I liked it
