I fucking love Eminem

Crying as I type this.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is the perfect example of what happens when an artist evolves. You can tell he took some notes from Kanye because production-wise this album (especially Bad Guy and Headlights) have some of the best production of Eminem's career.

I can't begin to explain how gloomy and dark the second part of "Bad Guy" sounds.

"I’m your time that’s almost up that you haven’t acknowledged
Grab for some water but I’m that pill that’s too jagged to swallow"

Man, that line really got me. Made me think that Em seriously considered suicide or he just wants it all over. It's so weird to hear this man say it's the last chapter in the saga...I never thought this day would come, especially like this.

The rest of the songs until Headlights don't really hold the same emotional value but they are reminiscent of early 2000 sound and some lines made me laugh out loud. Some hooks were great too. Then Headlights comes around and it's such a...difficult song to process. I was tearing up near the beginning but I have to admit I was bawling around the end especially when he said he felt sadness after he saw his mother in the driveway.

It just makes me think about what a career the man had and I'm so blessed to have witnessed it all.

If this is the last album, it's fucking splendid.

Tragic portrait of an artist tortured
Trapped in his own drawings

But in my head there’s a voice in the back and it hollas
After the track is demolished
I am your lack of a conscience

I’m your time that’s almost up that you haven’t acknowledged
Grab for some water but I’m that pill that’s too jagged to swallow

No disrespect but guys if you think seriously one sec that MMLP2 is better than SSLP you are crazy !!! HAHA !

Honestly...Rock Bottom, Role Model and Still Dont Give A Fuck...these 3 tracks alone are better than MMLP2.....lol

MMLP 2 sounds good but it still coud have been better imo. I love the album but in no ways its beating classic SSLP album rofl.

Listening to the outro of Bad Guy is pretty tough as we're not sure what's next for Em. If this is the end, props to him going out on a very high note. MMLP2 was excellent and his hard work paid off. The entire music industry will be different without Eminem and I'll truly miss him. His legacy is amazing and since the 2013 VMA's everything has been so surreal.

Only songs I don't like are Survival, The Monster still gay as fuck, and Asshole/Stronger Than I Was I could take or leave. The rest is dope.

Bad Guy, Brainless (I bet Alchemist produced this), Evil Twin, Headlights, Legacy are fucking incredible.

I'm glad Em proved me wrong.

Buuuuuuuuut..........lets not get ahead of ourselves guys.

It's a dope album, I'd say it's clearly better than Relapse and Recovery, but not as good as Slim Shady LP. Only reason being some of the weaker tracks like The Monster, Survival, and a couple others. But Em is still the man, still the best alive IMO.

It's hands down his best stuff since Eminem Show.

I give this album 4/5. My only gripe is a few weaker songs, and the flow on the tracks. But everything is great in it's own way. I love Em because NONE of his albums sounds the same.

That's not something you can say about the two other greats still around, Jay and Nas.
