I think this needs to be the start of the album.

I interpreted the verse after the beat change to be Slim Shady coming alive again and saving Em from drowning, only to take over his life once more.

And then it ends saying something along the lines of "Let's pick up where MMLP left off" and segways into the Parking Lot skit which was damn near the end of MMLP1.

My thoughts too. The whole lets pickup where MMLP left off was clever and when I heard that skit I smiled (corny but true).

Yeah, I don't know why he did that flow at the start of the second verse "shit-bitch/nit-wit/exsis-ted" his conversational voice acting you were talking about in the third was superb.
