Which album do you think had the best production/beats?

Postby Kenneth Kaniff » Nov 6th, '13, 03:58

I've been wondering this for a while now. I've heard many different opinions regarding the beats throughout Eminem's discography, for better or for worse. Certain albums seem to be be praised for their production, while some receive flak for that same reason.

So, I ask you; which album by Em do you believe had the best beats and overall production?

Em Show. It was mostly his production and it tailor fit his songs and gave him a style that was uniquely his.

A lot of the beats on SSLP and MMLP could have very well been on other underground hip hop or acid rap songs at the time.

No one was rapping on beats like Business and Sing For The Moment.

I can't say Eminem Show was Eminem's peak... because I believe his peak stretched out for years and is currently being revisited with MMLP2. That being said, The Eminem Show was the crossroads of both Em's and Dre's peaks. Totally unstoppable.

#1 Relapse
#2 MMLP
#3 TES

If you stripped away the lyrics and shit.. Relapse has some absolutely fucking amazing beats from cover to cover.. It's beautiful production wise. All hail the mighty D.r.e.

I am half asleep and hit MMLP without even remembering what the question was lol.. So -1 from MMLP +1 to Relapse
