In as much as people here and other message boards claim that Eminem got the idea for Bad Guy online, i actually think it was inspired by lil Wayne. Eminem started working on all the older sounding records in 2011, lil Wayne released Dear Anne in June 2011. Eminem always follows Wayne's moves because he thinks he is one of the hottest rapper out.

Also, Swizz beats submitted a beat to Em called Stan part 2 in 2009. In one of the interviews he did then, he talked about how he would never make a Stan 2 because stan was dead.

Apparently, according to Swizz beatz, "the media went out of control with the rumour" and Eminem obviously reads Xxl, the source etc.

So, bottom line, the inspiration behind Bad Guy is lil Wayne. #brainfuck
