if it really is over 5 hours before the main event you'll want to do everything you can to get up front, and if you can't do that then maybe somewhere on the sides because you'll want something to lean/sit on otherwise around the 4 hour mark your muscles are going to start aching from just standing there idle in one little spot for so long, even your spine's going to hurt. and the next morning will be even worse. oh and if you're planning on tripping don't that's a fucking horrible idea.

It's going to be my first show as well here in South Africa. But my question is... If you get there so earlier (which I want to do), and you need to go to the bathroom, what do you do? The people well get pissed off If you leave and come back? Sorry for the crap question, but I need to know... lol

I just came back from... well, actually a few hours ago now. But, I went to see Em.

At first it was absurdly weird. He looked kinda surreal as I guessed he would, I had to keep saying to myself ''oh yeah, you are a human!?", but I wasn't too confident in that analysis.

I actually got there (wit ma lady) like an hour bevfore Em came on and ye we still mamaged to be at the front, and I could see him within throwing distance. Was muchos weird.

Full EmBase review of Mel. concert coming soon.

And comes again
That ain't me
He's just a friend who pops up now and again
So don't blame me, blame him

Haven't you guys ever been to a music festival? Talking about aching an standing for hours. There's other acts ffs not like you're just waiting. Whole show went quick for me, I went to Melbourne show too, was a bit deco at first because I thought I was in red zone standing A but turned out it was B. Still an amazing show, even though Lighters is pretty corny it fit the atmosphere amazingly.
