True but there are political references peppered all over the album. White America, Square Dance, even My Dad's Gone Crazy made references to stuff going on at the time.

Whereas aside from Mosh, the rest of Encore was peppered with stuff you'd find on a Terrance and Phillip album.

No one should define or sum up with one word TES as "the political one" tho

Encore is arrogant DGAF-ness in audio form, garnished with brilliant lines- "I killed superman, I killed super- man, how ironic" is probably the funniest thing I've ever heard. I love Fack. I sing along to Ass Like That out loud.
I dunno, I just like to laugh and Encore provides plenty.
It's made even more hillarious by the timing of it, people were expecting something totally different.

I've never -- creatively -- seen or heard of an artist delivering their greatest work and follow it up with total shit.

The Eminem Show, 8 Mile (both soundtrack and movie), dominant victories over an entire label (the inc) and a fucking publication (the source) and then...Encore.

Seriously what the fuck. Never in my life I've seen this.

I don't just blame him, as he was under the influence of a lot of drugs as we now well know - I blame Paul, Dre, Jimmy -- anyone who heard the album and thought it was a respectable follow up to Eminem Show.

I'll never get over that shit.
