Stay Wide Awake is better than anything on MMLP2 imo, but as a whole, MMLP2 is so much more consistent

Relapse is both top heavy and bottom heavy, meaning it's got great tracks and absolutely horrible ones
Recovery and MMLP2 are alot more consistent although I now prefer Recovery after the initial OMG hype with MMLP2 slowly faded away

i listened to recovery yesterday, well most of it. and i like it more than a did a year ago and its a solid album, but i still mmlp2 is by far the best of those 3 albums

It all comes down to personal preference and maybe even personality to some degree...I can see how different people would prefer relapse, recovery, or mmlp2 of those 3. They're all solid and very replayable...but different, which is a good thing.

It's hard to decide...

I always loved Relapse and it remind me of SSLP for many reasons, for example high pitched voice/accents - on both albums he didn't know why he used to sound like this, it came natural, also his voice on both albums sounds really young... what else... Dr. West is very similar to intro from SSEP, not LP but still...
the fact that he did the "I lot of people ask me..." part on Underground. That similarities bring the nostalgia and make me love this album probably even more

but than there's MMLP2 and he brings the nostalgia again on this album...

of course I love these 2 albums not just beacause they remind me of old times
so which one I like more? I have no idea, I need at least 2 more years to decide :sweating:

I went with Relapse because I like the content/topic of that album in general. I believe that they are pretty close lyrically and maybe he had a better flow on MMLP2 but Relapse is one of my fav Em albums.

Seems like I'm not ready for MMLP2 yet. Only a handfull of songs I like. It's mainly because of the beats which don't appeal to me. Let's see if this changes over time.
