Were people invited to the rap olympics or was it just sign up, cause I could see mad people doing that which makes me wonder how the rounds work?

u can't sign up for the rap olympic's u can only be in it if ur a good rapper, and well respected in the underground. They don't just let anybody be in it. They invite the best of the best.

you know, I read that Dr.Dre found a tape of eminem on the ground in the studio, and after that, when Eminem got second on the rap olympics, Dre wanted to sign him and invited him. <<<< might be not true

Okay, I just checked around, and it seems that Juice winning the Rap Olympics in 97 didn`t happen, although, it does seem he was in it. I can`t find any concrete evidence to finish this argument off, but Wikipedia has Otherwise down as the winner that beat Eminem, and that's the closest to concrete I can find right now. So, I`ll have to believe what E.P said, and go with Otherwise.
