I listen to everything louder than average. I'm pretty much deaf already, haha. Of course I won't take it personally since I don't take stuff like that as an insult especially from a person I don't know and who exists only on the internet for me, but there are some things I just can't help but mention.
That Encore-hating stuff again. It bores the hell outta me. Encore is the worst album he's ever done, it's true, but think about it. If it was, like, Fifty's album, we'd all be like " :worship: :worship: he's a genius". His other 3 albums raised the bars so high we expected a new classic which didn't come, but COME ON. It's not overly good as a whole since there are tracks that you just cannot listen to and have to skip (yeah, for example 'My 1st single'), but if you're going to say songs like 'Like Toy Soldiers' weren't lyrically wise, didn't have a great beat and flow n' weren't brilliantly done, then I just choose not to say anything. Listen to 'Mosh', please. 'Yellow Brick Road'. 'Spend some time'. 'Encore'. I can't be bothered with that 'omg I'm so cool I'm one of those haters, he's lost it'-crap. And then you say 'Just lose it' was one of the best songs on it? Please.
Just... people. Get over it. Seriously. It isn't even original nor cool to diss Encore anymore. It is the worst he's done, but it does not suck.

The reason I like to defend Encore is probably because it was the first album I had heard of his, and it's what got me into his music. And this is mainly because I was just a kid at the time, and that's what I still am. And at the time I thought it was his best album. Because at the time I had only heard a few songs from his other albums and my taste was more towards Encore. And the reason I think Encore was still so popular and sold well was because it appealed to little kids more, and made an opening for a whole new generation of fans. That's why you see all these kids on youtube saying how good Encore is and acting like groupies. And honestly I'd probably be the same way if I was as dumb as them. But I'm glad that these fans came along because if all we had at the time was Eminem's older fans, the album probably wouldn't sell as well and Em's respect would go down a lot. And Em probably wouldn't have made another album after that and he would retire. So thank God for those little kids :P

^ Haha, agreed. I think it's funny how every single thread in this section ends up having an argument about how good or bad Encore was. :D

it just proves that it was good since people keep on needing to defend there arguements that it was bad, therefore they keep bringing it up :D
