I just noticed how the post office "drops" Stan's letter and therefore it is never delivered to Eminem, but in the fourth verse he says

"I'm really flattered you would call your daughter that".

Which is a reference to his first verse (letter) "If I have daughter, guess what I'mma call her, I'mma name her Bonnie. "

So how would Eminem know about that if he never got the letter?

Just to show Eminem didn't get the letter when he should have, so Stan thought he was ignoring him. He eventually does get it, but it's too late. THAT'S why.
