But for me the concept is brilliant, I love Rihanna's chorus and Em's verses are well written

I said "JUDGE IT AS A SONG". Why teh fuck does it matter if 500,000 girls per square fucking mile like the song? If the song gets major apraissal once it's leaked but after it becomes a single loved by teeny-bopper girls suddenly it sucks then you're crossing the song out because of external reasons.

I'm not a fucking campaign...wtf. I'm just asking for people to look LTWYL as it is...a fucking song. Judge it as a song. Forget the fact that its successful as fuck. Look at it like a fucking normal track and rate it, analyze it...whatever. If you just do that even if it ends up with a 2/10 then fine, you back up your point with more than just "Rihanna is there to sell!!!!" or "it's too successful and commercial!!!".

I already judged it "as a song", if you check the link i posted i spent fucking 5 pages writing long ass posts dissecting why i don't like it (as some did saying why they do like it, hence why it's such a good thread, it evens out), and many agreed with me. I think this is the only song on Recovery where the yelling delivery works extremely well. I also think the reason some fans don't like this is because it doesnt song like a hip hop songs. I like and listen to multiple genres and I think the production on this song is great, but to hiphop heads it probably sucks. I wouldn't call it Hip Pop, but its more like an awesome combo of country, rap, and pop. This song has great story telling and I see it as a classic.
