We were robbed from the perfect album

Postby slimshadylappin » Mar 8th, '11, 04:20

As we all know Em made three solo songs for his 8 Mile soundtrack. All three were undeniable classics.
Now imagine if he made the whole album. If he spent a lot of time and created the whole soundtrack by himself I believe this would blow any other Eminem album out of the water.

NO using the concept of 8 Mile. Im not talking about the songs he made in that year for The Eminem Show.
I am talking about him making a whole album with the 8 Mile concept

An entire album with the 8 Mile concept would have been the best album ever.

Gotcha, I misunderstood. That's still not really realistic, you can't focus on one concept for an entire album, he'd run out of different songs. Just appreciate it for what it was.

That would have been amazing :worship:

But I'm happy with the 3 songs we did get and I don't think we were robbed. Out of the three Rabbit Run is my favorite. :y:

I'm just saying, artistically speaking, every track can't be a motivational hard hitting song like LY, Rabbit Run, and 8 Mile. I mean, it can, but the album would have very little depth or diversity. Basically, I can 100% see why Em didn't do it. Also, having an album full of those kind of tracks would make the 3 awesome ones we got less special.

:facepalm :facepalm :facepalm
^There's some facepalms to make my opinion more valid.

I do have to wonder if it's possible to actually make a whole album based on 8 Mile, and whether or not it'd just be a bunch of songs which are similiar to the 3 already made. After all, the 3 that he made for it were really all about the same thing, as great as they are.

It's funny how Em dropped 'TES,' made a movie then recorded a few tracks for the soundtrack and won a grammy for 'LY' in the same year..
