Rumor: reason behind album delay

You know, we can all breathe a collective SIGH regarding Eminem and Dr. Dre. Why? We’ve been waiting forever on these dudes. From what I have been told most recently, Eminem’s delay with King Mathers is Marshall is renegotiating his contract with Interscope Records. One the paperwork is all finished, we’ll get that new CD.
Also, a more reliable source than the Enquirer told me that “Em is NOT with Marni, that entire thing in the National Enquirer is straight bull***t, they had to have made that up for something to talk about.” Now, from what I understand, they were doing some stuff, but it is over.

Yeah why would he be negotiating a contract unless he was planning on making several more albums?

that was a publishing deal (if i remember) basically that was a deal for him as a songwriter, so anything he writes is copywrited, its a totally different contract if you are also wanting to record music as an artist

yes he did

this could be true but not in a good way --- approx 2 yr a go now em did sign a new contract with interscope for a consignment of 5 new albums which was to include a greatest hits album and compilations aswell as new material.

now this was not long before curtain call so heres why i say this is possible :

1 after he supposedly sign this contract 2 or so yr a go curtain call came out - thats the 1st obligation fulfilled

2. then came the re up -- this was a compilation again part of the supposed contract

this then leaves 3 albums under the supposed signed contract.

3. his new album possibly named 'king mathers' is due soon thats the new material

that would leave 2 albums to make - this is my theory.

maybe he has decided that 'king mathers' will be his last album after all this would mean that he would not complete the supposed contract signed b4 curtain call

or

he has decided to go it alone and make shady records a seperate entity and no longer part of interscope so he has full control.

i personally think these facts are possibly the real deal but they are just theory's based on the supposed 5 album contract he apparently signed b4 curtain call

both my possible reasons for re negotiating are very possible reasons for him to do that.

lets hope if i am correct with my theorys that its theory 2 - going it alone

yeah im pretty sure that curtain call completed his contract with interscope. so unless he signs a deal with interscope he's technically not signed to interscope right now.

k well there is an album delay, the album was supposed to come out this May, but 85% of the CD has now been scratched, because EM wants it to be more fierce, so now the set date is sometime this November, I heard the CD is available in China Town in NYC, like a bootleg or something, also I am getting a copy of it so I will try and upload some of it, but my source is someone who works for Shady Records.
