they're kinda the same, both 2pac and eminem rap about similar things, it's just in complete different ways...

2pac makes a song about loving his mom, eminem makes a song about hating his mom
2pac makes songs about respecting women, eminem makes songs about killing and raping women...

they compliment each other very nicely.

Pac was more a Revolutionist Then anything. He focused on accomplishing specific things with his career. Mean while eminems situations left him to use Rap as a way of venting. He hasn't tried Changing anything. Like bringing awareness to people about World problems(Well maybe he's done some. But It definatly wasnt his main focus) And Just him using rap as a way to vent, He's managed to Grab the attention and interest of alot of people..and The fans have turned him into what he is today. Totally differant Storys. Totally differant styles. And i think its amazing how Eminem grew up listening to pac, Then the next day He's Producin and Ft on his tracks...
And Pac was Amazing for his time, i must say.
Anyways BIG is a differant story...Guy was ok, Not great. Lol...Just my insight on it

Overall. There both great For the Music theyve Made. for us to enjoy Today

Tupac is definitely the most emotional rapper of all time. Besides rapping he was an actor, activist, artist, and some would even consider him a prophet. He was more interested in changing the world; that was his mission. Eminem, however, is undoubtedly the sickest lyricist ever. His rhymes are so tight and intertwined that I can't even compare anyone to his rhymes. Biggie, to this stay, is the still the best freestyle flow-type rapper. He can thrown rhythms and rhymes into any song at any time, and he paints a damn good picture with his words while he does it.

that's a matter of opinion, i'm not all into that wordplay and metaphorical shit... <-- that's rakim for you... i'm more into complex rhymes, unique concepts, story-telling and emotion in the lyrics... which is more like eminem, 2pac, nas...

btw ur mistaking flow for his vocal pitch... almost every "top level" rappers switch up their flow a lot (jay-z, nas). the unique thing about eminem is he has a variation of pitch in all of his songs (etc, My Name Is vs Like Toy Soldiers, The Way I Am vs If I Had)

I agree with this, especially about being into the complex rhymes and concepts, and def about Em switching his pitch as opposed to his flow most of the time. Overall I think Pac was just an overall artist, poet, rapper, etc, Em in my opinion is the best lyricist ever in the game, I think it's just Pac's passion on the mic and his presence through his words in addition to his immense amount of songs that he stands out. Not to mention everyone wondering how he drops an album every other month.
