Eminem has covered all bases with this album.. it's pure marketing genius.

Exactly but people don't understand this. Eminem is trying to appeal to all of his fans, not just one part of it.

Of course it is... this is business. Plus it's about having multi platinum singles as well. An artist as big as Eminem needs songs like LTWYL up there with the best selling singles in the digital era & even though The Monster most likely won't sell that much or even won't get close to that, it's still necessary to have it on the album. At the end of the day they rap for a way of living not just for the sakes of rapping.
Rap God is a masterpiece but it can't do what they want sales wise... even though it served its purpose in great manner.

He needs pop songs to stay relevant, just like all Musicians. Eminem has at least tried this time to give real hip hop fans material eg. Rap God.

It's not even relevancy in his case... way more complicated than that. It's dominance... if Em didn't adapt & didn't sell as he does it'd be presented like a total failure even if the album was a gem. It's even like the media would wait on that to capitalize on it.

Monster will bring him millions of new fans which, if you're a true fan, you will appreciate. More power to em. Just relax and wait for the other 17 tracks. This album is clearly going to be very very diverse. The first 4 songs we've gotten are all COMPLETELY different production styles, and flow.

Not tryin to be funny but is your name actually pronounced THERAPIST...as in a dr? Or The Rapist?

By aligning himself with the mainstream so obviously and blatantly for commercial reasons in such a poor, lazy, rehashed cliched way he guarantees he will never be in anyone's top 5. Compare this shit to nas, biggie or pac ? It's over. He blew it. One shallow pop song too many to be taken seriously in the hip hop arena.

And he has the talent to be regarded as the best ever, no doubt. Shame.

Well you just lost ALL CREDIBILITY saying its the worst song...So you're saying you like FACK? Credibility SHOT TO HELL

Pretty much the same thing if you ask me... Em usually writes a certain batch of songs that mark a period of time & suppose to be for one album. They get to a certain amount of songs & when they think they have enough songs for an album start picking & cutting which shapes an album.

Yeah, I just feel people are overreacting that's all.

They are... it's not a big deal anyway. It's a cycle that happens every other time... the good thing is this album is gonna splash like crazy on all fronts.

Today I've listened to it twice and still don't like it.... I like Em's first verse, that's it.

I never though that Em would release a new song and I would just listen to it once to be done with it :facepalm
