Anyway the list is pretty solid.

If I allow Renegade, then I have to allow songs like Forgot About Dre, Patiently Waiting, and Don't Approach Me.

There is no doubt that 1997-2003 were Em's best years, but I'm not going to dismiss everything he's created after just because I don't feel it's better than his prime. I still think it's good music with some of it being great. What I love most about Em is that his music documents his life and what he's going through, it makes it relatable and it's what has allowed for him to have such a loyal fanbase. I mean shit, I've been listening to Eminem for 15 years now, he's done something right to keep me and others interested.


At the end of the day, it's all subjective. I'm just saying, Eminem's music is deeper than what you get at face value.

No, Renegade was written by Eminem, produced by Eminem, for Eminem. You allowed Bad Meets Evil which is the same as Renegade. Em only has one verse on those other songs you mentioned. He's a feature. Renegade is HIS SONG. Do you know anything about Eminem?

The reason as to why some "odd choices" made it into the Top100 is due to the small "sample size" (number of voters). In order to make the Top100, a song needed only 8 points - that could be one person placing a song at #18 in their Top25.

How do you avoid such problems then? It's simple, more voters. As the sample size increases (more voters), the probability of reflecting the overall-opinion increases. The Top25 (and probably even the Top 40) should be pretty accurate as it is, though.

That said, one must - of course - be realistic about what can be done. Props to Aone10 for the initiative
