I could care less about it being major. It's just a boring song to me. It has a crazy rhyme scheme, I'm aware, but so do alot of underground rappers that I don't like. It's OK & Never 2 Far are way more entertaining songs off that album imo.

I agree with both statements. Like I said, the rhyme scheme is crazy. Infinite just doesn't interest me.

Lose Yourself will be one of those classics that will be played and well known 40 years from now, similar to a lot of Beatles songs, Like A Rolling Stone, All Along the Watchtower, Smells Like Teen Spirit, etc.

Songs on that level of popularity and longevity are really rare nowadays.

Lose Yourself, say it's overrated all you want, even if it is it's still his best. The song stucture, the energy, the instrumental, the fact that it had the crossover appeal, everything about the song is just about perfect. Sing For the Moment is up there too but Lose Yourself without a doubt is #1.
