I get why alot of people hate it, and I can see how it's not that good technically. But it's his own, and I think it sounds pretty awesome.

I love the fact that Em signed Yela, I knew that Yela wanted to be signed by him, but I never knew Em would do it. An Em produced Yela album with a coupple of Em features would be so fucking awesome, I'm so hyped about this.

I know how ya feelin' right now. Shit is going to be great. :y:

Yelawolf's flow is always horrible.

LOL, no it's not

Sometimes it is, but certainly not all the time, that's just a major exaggeration

lol, Flow is literally the best thing Yelawolf has got going for him.

I dunno man, I've listened to both Trunk Muzik and Trunk Muzik 0-60 and I haven't heard a track on which I was really feeling his flow. He has a terrible sense of rhythm too.

I just can't get to like him. I guess he's a cool person and an averagely skilled rapper, but I don't like his style at all.

Fair enough then. When I first heard him, I didn't go much on his style either... but it grew on me once I heard more tracks. :smoking:

Same. It's an acquired taste, I guess. I wasn't feeling him at all at first. I used to think he was just another 'Asher Roth' and Em only co-signed him because he was on Interscope*. A month or so in the guy just seemed great to me :smoking:

*Asher Roth isn't on Interscope, but, you get what I mean.

I like how Yelawolf is associated with Famous Stars and Straps which is owned by Travis Barker. Hopefully Barker will be more involved with Shady Records now.

I think the only way I'm gonna end up liking Yela is if Em does a few tracks with him first, this is the same way I was with Weezy.. Disliked his flow, style, delivery but then I heard DTW and No Love and I ended up admiring his work a lot more :sweating:

Shady Records suck. They always get horrible talent. And that's why it isn't worth a fuck and never will be.

Yelawolf sucks. Slaughterhouses album was OK at best.

The only people that have been legit is 50 and royce. And 50 is terrible now.

Without Eminem that shit would have went bankrupt years ago.

Four rappers in one group, Royce's words about D12 are going to soon be about him..
"Fans coming up to y'all like, 'which one is you?'"

Slaughterhouse might be on the radio for like a week or two, they'll get play on Shade 45... But c'mon you guys are dreaming if you think they are going to dominate the mainstream like Young Money. Crooked I saying he's going to rule radio for three summers, like are you kidding me? Yeah they sold 30k, but take in mind, that's FOUR fanbases. They aren't the second coming.

Yela probably has the only chance of blowing up ONLY if he tones down his accent.. Arena Rap EP is incredible, but he got screwed on for his album, sadly. I hope Eminem doesn't give him the Cashis treatment.

Fair enough, I understand what you're saying. I wasn't really feeling him either, but I've been listening to him a bit more and he's good on some tracks. I think with Em's guidance, he can become good, he has mad potential IMO

Royce was NEVER signed to Shady :tounge2:

He's not even signed now, as a solo artist. I think you mean Obie
