What does eminem's music mean to you?

sometimes I live off his music.
when there are times that gets rough his music helps me through it really.
thats probably why I still like Not Afraid.. really inspirational song.

Such a hard thing to do...what does em's music mean to me.

I have been listening to his music for around 5 or 6 years, and his music is my ultimate escape. Whether in the weight room, walking to class, or alone at night I can listen to his music and be taken to a different place. I can feel and relate to the raw emotion in his tracks, I don't need to do what he does in the songs to relate to the emotion he was conveying. Other songs take me away to a twisted dark place of sharp knives, death, and blood. But for me, this place is home. Listening to Buffalo Bill as I walk to class makes me give people weird looks more. Listening to Till I collapse makes my posture a little more confident. His music is fucking powerful, he has the amazing ability to paint vivid pictures, and like blues clues I jump into these pictures and am really fucking happy.

I can't even explain it, he puts his heart and soul into his work, so much of HIM is in his work it's just so honest, raw, and amazing. The day Eminem leaves this earth will not only be a sad day for art.

I could sit here and say all the shit I wanted, but I still wouldn't have nailed it. I listen to his music every single day of his life. His music is just a really big part of me, its integral. It helped shape who I am today, and honestly without his music I would be a completely different person.

He is our generation's genius.

Makes me start cracking up laughing, makes me just go "DAYYUM that was fucking dope" , I can chill & vibe to his shit, I can get pumped up & work out to his shit, I can get blazed to his shit, I can relate to his shit
Different tracks give different vibes & I like almost all of them for one reason or another.
He also made me start rapping seriously (when I heard Demons Inside) , he got me to recognize multies & start using them myself (Hard Act To Follow), got to recognize lyrical content over beats, got me into underground & horrorcore.
He's just a artist yet he's a huge influence on the music I listen to & he's one of the reasons I changed as a person for the better.
Out of every artist or band I listen to he's definitely the most influencal. We bitch about the negative shit & how he's "fallen off" & "sucks now" so much we fail to see the positive shit sometimes.

His music has been the soundtrack to my life so far.

It gets me through things, gives me confidence, makes me laugh, makes me sad, inspires me, excites me, makes me want to kill people.

What more could you want from an artist?

I guess thats how i feel about it, its just difficult to describe it. Songs like difficult make me sad, but songs like crazy in love put me through loads of emotions. Best artist ever

Eminem's music means to me that I can say what I like without giving a fuck and shows me that you can get through anything if you really want to. :smoking:
