it is not for alcohol only its also for drugs addicts, it is for being 2 year sober, when you reach that the give you that piece...so he's proud of it and wear it on his nechlace

To be honest the first thing I noticed was the necklace lol.. Usually it's a cross but it struck me as odd seeing a circle pendant :tounge2:

I don't really care what kind of necklace he wears, but I think the AA necklace means he takes his sobriety seriously and that it's important to him. Seeing him wearing that is almost (to me) a symbol of how strong he is and what he's overcome.
