Nothing wrong with it compared to many albums released that year. .
I was shocked Em even still had it in him to squeeze 'Encore' out of his ass.
I was blown away at the first listen, then I saw all the hate for it and just said "wtf" to myself..
I know it was different to 'TES' but I didn't give a shit at the time..
I'd bump 'Encore' all the time cause all the other kids did and I was digging some certain tracks too.

Sometimes when someone releases an album with a different style, people are gonna whinge..
But if you saw...Uh..Metallica playing nothing but fast songs, you'd get bored...Same deal with Em..He had to try something new or become boring.

People just don't really know these things and write off 'Encore' as trash..

My 2 cents though..I don't even care.

Yeah its shit. I gave it a 4/10 from my average ratings of each track. Spend Some Time was ruined by the features. Never Enough I don't mind as a pump up song. Evil Deeds is Ok, Love You more is good. We As Americans was cool I liked the idea for Mosh(To bad he sounds boring as hell on it) YBR was Ok LTS was meh lame attempt at an emotional song imo. Everything else was horrific. Two of the tracks mentioned were bonus tracks too so yeah..

Just my opinion :y:

Yep. Esp since it came after his previous albums, it really looked weak. But there are still some tracks which are nice

Um no, but I think it would be more appreciated if it had been his debut album.

(Yes, yes, it couldn't be because he's referencing old stuff and YADDA YADDA but whatever.)

It would be like "Obviously his later albums are a lot better, but it was a solid debut. Sure, some of the songs were silly and stupid, but most were quite decent and a sign of even better things to come"

It's the fact that Encore was so thoroughly disappointing after three classics in a row that makes people think it's even worse than it is.
