Selling out with Recovery, doing shows and commercials and he still only made 3 million more then last year? Forbes better be much higher. This is an epic failure for such a big artist. Kanye only sold 1 million albums and I bet you he will be 15-20, and lil wayne probably arouund 25. Weak.

Obviously this isnt as accurate as forbes. No way Jay making 11 million in one year. And Gaga will make another 60 million this year. And where is Wayne? Forbes had him estimated at 25-30 million for this year (pre estimation)

but it's really a proof of how bad the record sales have gotten the absolute top-seller selling 29 copies only gets him to the 18 spot (11 million dollars!) on a list consisting exclusively of musicians..
it's cool for him though since he didn't really do an effort besides Recovery.. PR wise there could have been a bigger campaign but Em probably isn't fit for it even though he made some new stuff getting on SNL do big ass concerts with a bunch of rappers commercials (I Know it was 2011 :P) etc..

There reason they sell is because there music is just watered down.

Only real main stream appeal songs on recovery is love the way you lie, no love and space bound.

Who gives a fuck about money? Em is still rich as fuck, he's the top selling artist of the decade, and Recovery is a huge hit, still selling like crazy. That counts for way more than him being number 18 as far as money-making goes. As far as music, he was number 1, and that's all that matters.
