Lol, I'm not saying that I would take KM over Relapse/Recovery. Relapse and Recovery are both leagues beyond what King Mathers would have been. I wouldn't take it over them, but I'm still interested in hearing the rest of KM. God no, I'd be a fucking retard if I would choose this EP material over Relapse and Recovery. I know there are some people lurking on this forum that don't like Relapse or Recovery, so I'm waiting for these people to pop up and say so. I personally love both of them, and I'm glad King Mathers never came out because we wouldn't have gotten another album after it. This thread is just for discussion's sake. I'd still like to hear more of KM though, especially if a lot of it is in the same vain as The Apple.

The best thing is that Eminem himself knows what the fans would like ,that's the reasons some of the albums cuts that leaked never made it.

King Mathers or not, he was still recording for SOME ALBUM during 2007. KM is just what we're calling it, smh. :shakehead:

Absolutely, with out a doubt - I would have prefered King Mathers come out in '07/'08 (or whenever it was suppose to drop)

pointless to say, but, I've have been a slim shady fan for years, and even tho I didn't like it at the time, I remember Hi My Name Is dropping on the radio, and gaining more interest in Eminem as The Marshall Mathers LP dropped. soooo, that said, I personally would have rathered the King Mathers album, shit quality lyrics or not.

if King Mathers would have happened, 2009 would have been a lot different.

take a look at this...

99-The Slim Shady LP
99-Chronic 2001
00-The Marshall Mathers LP
01-Devil's Night
02-The Eminem Show
02-8 Mile OST
03-Get Rich or Die Tryin'
03-Cheers
04-D12 World
04-Encore
05-The Documentary
05-The Massacre
05-Curtain Call: The Hits
06-Second Rounds On Me
06-Eminem Presents: The Re-Up
07-Curtis
07/08-King Mathers
07/08-Detox
aaaaaaand, then, after that Stat Quo, Bobby Creekwater, & Cashis' albums for 08/09 :coffee:

but, don't take my opinion tho, it looks hella better than this...

99-The Slim Shady LP
99-Chronic 2001
00-The Marshall Mathers LP
01-Devil's Night
02-The Eminem Show
02-8 Mile OST
03-Get Rich or Die Tryin'
03-Cheers
04-D12 World
04-Encore
05-The Documentary
05-The Massacre
05-Curtain Call: The Hits
06-Second Rounds On Me
06-Eminem Presents: The Re-Up
07-Curtis
GIGANTIC HIATUS----------
09-Relapse
09-Before I Self Destruct
09-Relapse: Refill
10-Recovery
11-Detox

jus sayin...

I would have liked it to come out probably back then, because I wanted this album to come out. But, this would probably mean we wouldn't get Relapse or Recovery, so ultimately I'm glad it didn't come out. I'd like to hear King Mathers in it's entirety, still, but not officially released as an album. Maybe after he dies we'll get some unreleased KM and Relapse 2 material, those two being the only albums he's completely scrapped.

So, would you have liked it to come out and would you take it over Relapse/Recovery?

No where close Relapse.
SWA> The Ep
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?

I agree, but would you take KM over Recovery, then? Since you didn't mention it...

Back then I would have wanted it to come out, like before Relapse or Recovery. But since the EP I am really glad that KM didn't come out. I don't think we would have gotten Relapse or Recovery and I would much rather have those 2 albums over anything that was on that EP. After I heard the Its been real outro it kind of made me sick to my stomach. It seems like he was really considering retiring.

These King Mathers tracks have so much character that is even missing from Recovery
Now of course if you've been reading my posts, you'd know Recovery is my fav Em album but still, theres something magical about those King Mathers leaks. It's like that raw moment of conscience stream using the strangest slant rhymes I've ever heard. I almost wanna dare call it Based Music :o

and for the record, I'd take King Mathers over Relapse
that shit woulda been a trip to listen to in full

Ok i could talk about this all day but here it is quick :y:

i love every eminem album, but i thing king mathers would be my favourite or at least i would like it more that recovery and relapse, but im very glad he is still rapping today. So to some it up i think it would be my favourite album but i would not want him to quit after it so im glad it didn't get released.

just about to pass out from lack of sleep so sorry for bad sentence structure and if i haven't made my point clear or repeated myself
