After watching the video I did pick up something interesting. The envelope that falls on the ground at the post office is not the same letter that we see Stan writing the first time around.

Looking at the picture you can see the writing is a bit different. Yes the return address, the exclamation points and the state could have been added after sealing the letter but the writing on the envelopes are still a bit different on the parts that are the same.
