Maybe wrote:You can suck his dick until Dre drops Detox, but the fact of the matter is: Recovery was an embarrassment. I don't care how relevant he attempted to make it by featuring an accomplished (yet terrible) mainstream singer. His work on that album was inferior not only to his past work, but to the work of his once less talented peers. His rhyming was amateur; his rhyme-schemes, punchlines & multies were ridiculously simple; pathetically one dimensional, and just plain stupid. His flow was decent in several of the songs, but quickly destroyed by his shocking lack of simple rhyming skills. The originality his songs were once known for was shattered; the debris swept away and replaced with the cookie cutter material we've heard spoken a hundred times over.
On the subject of inferior: Relapse was terrible. The rhyming was great, sure, and so was the flow in most songs. Actually, I'd say the rhyming was thoroughly superior and definitely reflective of a veteran image. However, the content, although occasionally funny, was mostly filler material and seemed pointless.
I was an Eminem fan until I listened to Recovery. He should have just quit after TES, because the "potential" he supposedly had when people were discussing his return was a myth. The only thing Eminem has now is a fatter bank account because his obsessed; disgustingly single minded and hopeless fans will purchase anything his voice is on.
At least you think
Relapse was terrible, I thought you could praise it. But I still can't understand you.
Em reached the top of his career after
TES and
8 Mile, surely. But come on, why retiring? Em was such a genius, that we can live with him even if he's a bit worse. He still shits on all other rappers. He's got a fatter bank? And? Who gives a fuck? Are you really that jealous and malevolent? And don't begin talikng about some underground shit, cuz you loved him back on 2002 when he still got it.
So every fan should be thankful, that Em is even able to put some new shit out. Who the fuck wants to live in the past? Thinking the whole life about his comeback? How great it would be? Come on. I'm happy he had his comeback and I'm happy he managed to increase his skills after
Relapse. His next album will hopefully even be better than
Recovery. The more material he puts out the happier I am.
