Yeah, he's gotten pretty soft. His language is lighter and content is angellic.

EM is not getting soft, however, some may feel he is when he puts out videos like lighters. Personally, I feel he's stronger artist because he can put himself and his struggles out there. Just sayin. And I'll apologize now 4 being such a beeeatch. Sorry. But in my eyes this is on topic.

Could be.. In Way I Am (book) he says he regrets how far he went with some of his older stuff. Says that he just wasnt thinking about his daughter getting older and listening to the crazy deranged music that her father made. I think he was talking about the really intense shit like 97 Bonnie and Clyde and Kim tho. Hes toned it down somewhat, but at the level that he was at there really wasnt any place else to go except down
You ain't even impressed no more, You're used to it
TorieCheng72 wrote:No way...totally disagree. He's a lyricist like no other, & I'll bet most of his work is improvisational. Recovery just is in no way generic, there are tracks with words & beats like no other. Now you've got me wanting 2 listen to both of his newest released albumns. No way will EM eva be generic. He puts himself fully out there. He may be more introspective due to time, however I believe that I'm a fan now, where I can honestly say his vulgar, crude, attitude used 2 throw me off. Now I find his humor very funny.
