And i totally 100% agree man! But its almost impossible to get that across to some of the fans on this site!

Im expecting something amazing from Em at the cypher, if we dont recieve something special and he gets outshined by Yela and SH, then the people that actually realise and notice good rapping ability are gonna be dissapointed :y:

People are saying that i now show Eminem lots of hate and critique him so much, its his fucking fault i do this,he was god at a point, its like growing up eating toasts and caviar drinking champagne, and a couple years later forcing yourself to settle with greasy burgers and orange soda,i will simply refuse that my favorite rapper, for his own sake in 2010-2011 is rapping at this pretty low level to what he once was.

People blame the vocals, how he sometimes acquires this screamy shallow delivery because he got brainwashed after he dropped Relapse, the dumb ass (i never thought id call such a genius this) now thinks "if i scream, then i go in hard,yo!",his vocals are treated awkwardly nowadays.

What is wrong with his structure and flow?
why do his rhymes and words seem so scrambled nowadays,he just chooses to place his words this messed up on the beats he raps on? the flow,he used to do this very hard to perfect "simple singy song flow" or just the flow where dumb asses think he is "talking over the beat",these 2 types of flow are something nobody in hip hop can perfect, the guy went from becoming the beat and smoothly riding it to having it overhaul him and beat him down,he sounds like hes struggling while rapping,he lost every sense of tempo and rhythm, nothing sounds interesting, his flow used too seem so confident and relaxed, controled and perfectly paced, what the fuck happened Marshall?

Whats with the punchlines?
First of all,off the bat, punchlines are the easiest skill in hip hop,its mostly unimpressive to me,doing punchlines gets you nowhere,i will not be impressed be cheap wordplay and puns that are this awkwardly delivered,he lost his sense of wit and tact, when he did a punchline back in the day,he made you feel it was a part of what he was actually saying, not nowadays, now its like he thinks "ooops 3 bars in,time for pun,yo!"

Whats with the content Marshall?
i have had enough of this "im back,im happy and positive" shit,he ran that the fuck down on Recovery, whats with this random content hes coming up with,i can think of like 300 concepts right now,be more metaphorical with your content if you think you ran out of shit to talk about, nothing wrong in exploring, thats why Relapse feels so fresh to me,address life, money, greed, think of hip hop as trapped and u trying to save it,talk to your fans, talk to your daughters, lead the generation that believes in you too much it got you to be this average.

Is Eminem starting to lose confidence?
Well,so it seems, hes sounding like a broken record nowadays, hes like this mutant that answers the same questions the same way,he had charisma nobody ever had,now hes just this quiet fuck,he does not sound comfortable while rapping, back in his prime he sounded like he is having fun, stop letting people influence you,rap more with D12,because they have this sense of sounding comfortable that you now lost, let joe budden teach you something, royce is now too rich to sound like the legit great rapper he once was.

I simply refuse to be blind.

now was all that said,Em will always be the GOAT for the sole fact that he dropped 4 classic albums nobody is ever coming close too.

What Em should do imo is sit down and analyze the lyrics of the old songs. He should also start making beats himself again.

While we may not know more about rapping and understand the skill better than Em, I'm pretty sure that many people in here including me do know more than him about the genre. At least about its current state. Do you think that he has spent the time to check out new artists, study songs of any rappers and keep up with Hip-Hop news? I don't think so and we do that ish daily. I would start a discussion with him asking him about Lupe and see how many of his metaphors he has figured out or if he even is aware of most of his songs. I also bet that he doesn't know who Hopsin is or what's the latest info on Jay and Kanye. I'm not the type to brag but I seriously doubt that Em spends the time to study the culture like we do. Nowadays that is.

No offense, but you're kind of clueless. Rap music is Eminem's FULL-TIME JOB. He has said numerous times in recent interviews that he's been "studying the game."

I doubt any of us know more about rap music than him, or even the current state of mainstream rap. Yes, he'd know who Hopsin is (because of Royce). No, he wouldn't bother decoding Lupe's shit metaphors. He'd know everything there is to know about Jay-Z and Kanye West's recent music.

None taken, but I'm still standing by what I said. And actually, Em's stated that when he's working on new music (which is usually the case) it's even harder for him to stay up do date and plus, being aware of an artist isn't the same as having heard their material. It just seems to me that he doesn't have the time to bother with all that, and there's nothing wrong about it so I think he's closer to being a causal fan rather than a nerdy one. But if we were to discuss current artists I'm sure that most of the time he'd say the same thing he said about Odd Future:

"I think that from the stuff that I've heard — I haven't heard a lot from them, I still have to go check out everything that they're doing — but I've heard enough to know that it feels..."

i.e. that he's partially aware. However, I think that the more important thing about knowing Hip-Hop is to understand its purpose so to say. You don't really have to know all the artists as long as you know what their aim should be and what does it take for them to be good, and that it's about doing it out of love rather than money and things of that matter. So basically, he's all good even though his opinion on what's quality music is nowadays questionable to me considering the music he's been putting out lately.
