it's most likely true like I said he didn't have a record deal then so it's not like he could easily sell it in stores he was still underground and I know alot of underground rapper around my nabourhood who do the same thing

Yhea the lyrics where amazing, but his voice is funny, i'm not saying this is a classic album, but it's cool to listen to it sometimes.

My favorite old style song of Em is also Biterphobia, it wasn't on infinite, but damn thats a good one, i think it even sounds good accapella

Infinite was lyrically well but it didn't had so hot beats thats why I think it doesn't had the success but I like it a lot cuz you see em can spit even without dre's help

I think it was ok, I like some of the tracks he recorded back then, but I think he is much better now.
"I do say things that I think will shock people. But I don't do things to shock people. I'm not trying to be the next Tupac, but I don't know how long I'm going to be on this planet. So while I'm here, I might as well make the most of it."

I`m sick of people sayin he sounded like Nas!

Nas couldn`t even begin to rap the way Eminem was rapping back then, it was more like Big Pun, with the broad vocabulary and complex rhymes. I know Nas is like hip-hop royalty because of "Illmatic", but, what i said is true. Nas`s gift is his flow, knowledge and intelligence.

I`d love EMinem to re-record "Infinite", same lyrics, with fresh beats, his present day voice and flow! That would be amazing!

That was Dre`s real gift to Eminem, helping him find his voice and obviously the crazy beats!!

Eminem - Infinite (1996 F.B.T. Prod.)

Postby InFinite_95 » Jun 29th, '06, 01:56

Infinite is the greatest underground album of all-time. Its just a classic, hands-down. We'll never hear Eminem rhyme and flow like that again. P.S. Im getting an original Infinite cassette in a few weeks:)

Me too.

Em sounded NOTHING like Nas on Infinite. I dont get why people say he does. Nas cant rap like that, PERIOD! And everything after Illmatic all sounds the same, from It Was Written to God's Son. After listening to all of Nas' albums, Im starting to think he bit 2Pac's style. Nas doesnt have nowhere near the lyricism and flow of Infinite. If you ask me, Eminem sounded like...Eminem, on Infinite. Ive heard all of Nas' albums, and Em sounded nothing like any of it. He's not rapping about the struggles of the ghetto or anything like that on Infinite. He's rappin about his dreams, his life, his skills and poverty. Infinite is a classic!!!!!!!!!!
