i'm curious as to when these were made?

what i mean is, were these done and used as a demo for dre, or where they made after he was signed and they got different beats for the album?

Also, i expected on some level even slightly diff lyrics at some point. Either way, cool find, never heard these before.

The Just the Two of Us here is just the version on the SSLP, so hardly the original-demo version.

I really can't see how any of these are better than the tracks that appeared on the SSLP. I've had these on my iPod for a while (from the Eminem Originals album) and the Dre versions are so much better: Em's voice sounds smoother and flows better, he's changed words so they rhyme better; overall it's amazing what a bit of tweaking can do.

Yeah the only difference to that is the beat. Where Just the two of us samples the old record 'Just The Two' and '97 Bonnie and Clyde' is all original production. Would have been cool if there were some darker lines in the original.

Rock Bottom was made in 1996-97 when he was suicidal because of his living arrangements, problems/constant arguments with Kim, no deal, & his producers FBT about to give up on him. The rest of the SSLP demos were recorded in late 97-98, & what's the difference was recorded in 1999. That's a fact.
