Google Alchemist and Relapse and see what he says- Talking about Rhymes, and Dre and consistency. Which is basically what it was. Remember reading an interview of him talking about Recovery and he was talking of puns, methapors and punchlines. Which is what it was about. Even when he talked of his Chemical Warfare verse and the "accents"... Believe Al.

Tbh, i dont think we will get a more insigtful opinion of this album from anyone else except possibly Eminem himseld. And... I'm hyped as FUCK!! First thing's first, Al says it meets his level and standard and caliber. Not necessarily better.... Jus not disapointing either. Thats quite an insurance policy. Second, with him "being Eminem" aww.... Aww boi. Good 2 knw.

Random, i like how he ignored Hell the Sequel. Means that Eminem (or to a less extent Al) REALLY considers that a side project and his lasting image of how the public views him is Recovery. With his desire to be different from each album to the next.... Its exciting.

Eminem is not some fucking Kanye West who has to tear his ass off in the question of sound everytime just to be rellevant. When it comes to Eminem experiments it means topics, flows, rhymes+ a little bit freshness in the sound, imho.

It's getting less & less possible every other day now... I don't think it will be all Recovery set regardless though.

I'm pretty sure a long time ago Paul and Fif both were saying that Em wasn't happy with how Relapse was received so he went back and made Recovery, I guess to prove a point that he can still dominate the mainstream.

So with that said, Alchemist is a very quiet and humble dude and it's people like this that you should listen to. When he says, "he's Eminem" I think he's basically saying that both comeback albums were extremely left field for Em (and subsequently his fans) and he's finally "re-found" himself...essentially. At least that's what I hope it means.

This is all so exciting!! I didn't realize I was starting to lose my interest from all the waiting around until this thread reminded me what it's like to be hyped.

I feel like this makes it seem like Symphony in H is dated material more than I already thought. Nothing from that verse sounds like "further territories" it seems more like the eminem we have known for the past 3 years.
