Bottom line is he is using that whisper/yell choppy flow cheesy line crap.

So if it is old, then there is still hope. If that is 2013 Em, the album will be horrible.

I want to believe that it is old, because it is so shitty. But it doesn't really make any sense for it to be.

Em has had slumps before and broke out of them. Hope he does with this album. My expectations are very low though.

Sorry you didn't like it. But cheesy line? C'mon man, this is the complete opposite of "cheesy". If you don't like something, it doesn't automatically make it cheesy...you can dislike something for the sake of disliking it, doesn't always need a reason, like being cheesy - which it isn't anyways.

I love probably 70% of Em. Hate the other 30%. It just seems like I hate him, because a big chunk of that 30% has been made in the last couple of years.

I like a couple of songs off Infinite. Love SSLP, MMLP, Eminem Show and Relapse and most of the songs that were produced in those time periods. Hate Encore, and most of Recovery. Pretty much everything post Recovery.

Because he wanted it that way. People act like he had some sort of throat trama at some point in his life.

In the art of rapping when he did yoke the joker he sounded exactly like he did on Infinite which he recorded like 18 years ago.

His voice is the same. It's slightly deeper, which just comes with age, but it's very small. His voice is healthy.

The only difference in now and 1999 is he is slightly deeper and has stopped with that Malibus most wanted I'm trying to fit in with black people accent he once had, no wut im sayin yo?

His vocal range is basically the same. He just adds that horse, fake intensity. But I bet if you put him in the studio and had him cover still don't give a fuck, it would sound the same now as it did then pretty much.

I'm pretty sure he raps about hoes now because he can't rap about killing people. You guys are right though, Em in those Westwood freestyles are better than the Em here but we can blame ourselves for bitching about Relapse. Now everyone loves it and is hating on his new content (or old content) - bashing hoes. Since that seems to be more relatable and funny to people than being a serial killer. The serial killer content opened up doors for real storytelling and character indulgence and that's what he did.

As Menzo says, I simply like his content now because it's funny and it's him trying to be witty again. He's been slowly improving over the years and I think it's all about to pay off on this album.

I never bitched about Relapse. I liked it then, like it now.

And I think it sounds really obnoxious to read people acting like they actually had something to do with the Relapse style going away. The record sales dictated that. Because they label got on to Em about it. Which is insane. Someone that has done so much should be able to do whatever they want. And if Relapse had Rihanna and little wayne awkwardly thrown in there like Recovery, it would have sold just as much.

Em believed in Relapse, he didn't in Recovery. Now, I think he's just trying to find something. We take greatness for granted. Constantly finding new styles is hard. Most just beat the same horse over and over(Nas...almost every other rapper not named Eminem). So while I respect Em trying to not get stale, I think he has went too far outside the box. He needs to go back to a simple formula of music. He's forcing things that he can't do and it isn't working.

I agree about Relapse being his true self, and even though I like Recovery, it doesn't feel like an Eminem project.
