Some of you all are so anti-female when it comes to hooks.

That's because it usually reflects the song itself. With the exception of Stan, pretty much every Em song with a female hook has been sub-par...
25 to life, LTWYL, Won't Back Down, Echo (BME, but still...), Survival, I Need a Doctor, etc. All mediocre.

Whatever happened in 2009 after relapse was out, that made him scrap relapse 2, that made him start to use this annoying choppy flow, screaming voice he uses so much ever since "forver", that made him work with so many other producers, most of them worse than himself of dre, or at least not so much fitting his style - make that unhappen.
The man he would be today in that case would be fine i guess. Relapse was a good start after the comeback... just fix what most ppl criticised - the accents - and keep everything else, because everything else was good, and his next album(s) would have been great.
I feel like he still has the skill, its just, for some reason, he went in a wrong direction, but he thinks this direction is right. I think Em is more insecure about his own stuff than ppl might think, maybe the wrong persons did have influence on him and told him things... dunno, its all just speculation.

Him making a cohesive album like he did with MMLP and especially TES. Relapse was pretty cohesive but the subject matter got tiresome at times. Also, i obviously want a dark album that is related to MMLP (that should be a given with the name) That is why im worried with Survival being a regular track instead of a bonus...I don't see how it can be cohesive AND feel like the MMLP with that track in the middle. Please prove me wrong Em!

An Eminem that REALLY and TRULY wants to be the best MC that ever lived. That means HE defines what he values in songs. Whether production, content, rhyme schemes, flows, whatever. I know he is OCD but i am not sure he is being OCD about what HE values and not what an imaginary field of people painted by Paul wants. Honestly, just try be AMAZING. everytime he walks in the studio, have that MMLP fire, confidence, hunger, soul, passion. 2013 lackluster Eminem is incredibly boring and frustrating.

- remembers that 50 Cent and (most of) D12 are still alive and fucking uses them.
- realizes his music is best when produced by himself and Dr. Dre.
- only raises his voice on a track when it's actually effective.
- avoids bad puns at all costs.
- doesn't diss pop artists, because he's too old for that, but rather ignores them entirely and would never dream of collaborating with them again after Recovery, which he knows was shit.
- lends a helping hand to his Shady 2.0 artists and lets Yela and Royce get on MMLP 2.
- knows precisely why MMLP was dope and does his best to recapture that magic.

I'd be more than happy with Relapse Em. I mean quality wise, not a copy of the Relapse style. And I still think MMLP2 will be even better.

I just don't think he remembers what endeared him to america back in '99-'01; the man was a brilliant lyricist with a very dark and sharp sense of humor. He spit venom and fire and was very in touch with the darker side of things. My main complaint is with the corny metaphors (time to exercise these demons,...doing jumping jacks now -_____-) Although I think 2011 Em was brilliant with I Need a Doctor and most of H:TS
