TR doesn't even know what they want. It's really the music they have a problem with. Eminem on this is perfectly fine and dope. It's just the music is poppy...hook is better than LTWYL hook.

Fine....this damn pauses in and out of each fucking bar. He does it like half the song, on damn near every song now. I knew his flows would sound just like his 2012 features.

Some of the guys on here are as bad as the yes men Em has in his team, i swear.

You guys can be fine accepting this crap for Em in 2013, I still know he's capable of much much much more, given his last few releases.

Well we do too...lmao. That's not the point. The point is we're saying it's not TERRIBLE. But he is capable of so much more, you're right, and this is the worst of the album. I assure you. Just like LTWYL was.

Look everybody, I will probably get a lot of hate for this - but Relapse was and most likely will be the last proper hip hop record we will get from Eminem. I mean, Eminem had some serious lyrical songs on there (Underground, Stay Wide Awake), concept songs that fit in a certain direction (3AM, Insane, Medicine Ball) and meaningful songs (Beautiful). He actually rapped words that said something. The production being soley Dr. Dre helped achieve this and I feel Eminem needs Dre to stay away from these shit pop beats.

Every single song off of Recovery is better than this. Yes.

Dude, his flow on here is smooth as hell compared to most of the 2012 stuff...

These 4 songs that were released so far SHIT on Recovery (not count GTC and Seduction because they're spectacular).

Really....you don't hear him constantly dropping and raising his volume in each verse, the pauses here and there throughout each verse. Good god....his flow is so far off right now.

Yeah not saying the whole 'choppy flow' thing here tbh.

You guys have said that on so many songs lately it's got to where you say it even on songs where he isn't choppy lol

@4Corners

Let me first say that I didn't like Recovery because it felt really forced and the rhyming patterns were dumbed down for mediocre similies.

I'm still not the no. 1 fan of this "choppy" flow he uses, but in terms of rhyming, so far MMLP2 is better than Recovery. Yes, what's I've heard so far isn't what I wished for, but I'll be content with it.

But one thing you said that I need to address: "on all the songs is rapping for the sake of rapping."

Hasn't Eminem mostly rapped for the sake for rapping? When he's not talking about personal stuff that's pretty much what he's been doing his whole career and that's pretty much what all rappers do. If songs like Square Dance, Kill You, Soldier and pretty much the whole SSLP isn't rapping for rapping....But the difference is it didn't matter back then because everything was perfect from lyrics to flow to the beats.

Cold Wind Blows is meh, so is Ridaz, Session One, Untitled and Almost Famous (IMO).

You guys go from "Em is back!" after Rap God back to "Em fell off" with a decent, okay song like The Monster.

Bad Guy, Evil Twin, Legacy, Brainless, Love Game, Rhyme Or Reason, set my expectation high.
The rest you could probably tell was going to be shit.

Rihanna dissapointed the day she appeared on the Tracklist.

Asshole with Skylar better not give us another Let Me Ride bullshit, because this isn't 2002, Em's funny songs are less listenable to, and catchy. You have to force a song to like it. Best Case scenario on this one, Drug Ballad type of song ( oooh that beat ).

Survival you could tell the "do or die " Recovery corniness, but it is actually a really good song. I like it, a lot.
Still no revisit at all, but far superior to Recovery.

Berzerk was recieved with Mixed feelings. Still do, but it grew on me because of the video. Great production and chourse. Some wack verses.

My point is, you can tell a lot by a title, Em is pretty predictable.
Can't wait for Bad Guy and the 2 beats, but putting songs like these on the album are really dissapointing.
RESPECT MY AUTHORITAAH
