He needs to concentrate on that.

Maybe a feature on kendricks next album. But Em is old, he needs to save his material, time and energy for his own stuff.

This isn't football. The touring will have to stop, but I doubt the bars ever will. I feel like people tend to compare musicians to athletes, as if they are no longer physically capable of making music. But this isn't the case... While it is true that athletes get weaker and unable to compete with the younger ones...authors, scholars, and artists of all kinds only get smarter and stronger with their craft as they get older.

Expect the touring to get less and the bars to get more. Shit, look at Jay Z. MCHG is better than anything he's done since the Black Album. Jay is older than Em. It won't take long for people to realize hip-hop isn't a sport. It's an art form.

The more material you make, especially when it is close together, it hurts the quality.

And when you're a older artists, it takes longer to put things together verse when you were younger and had words just spilling out.

And you are making these claims to longevity. Yet basically every old rapper except Eminem is horrible.

Jay Z's new album is terrible. Dmx horrible, snoop dogg terrible, Nas's album is decent, but really boring compared to his previous efforts.

Rap is the hardest genre to stay relevant and good in.

I don't want Em wasting time and bars on anything except the new album.

That has nothing to do with age though. Yes they are older during those periods of worse music, but that is just because you can't stop aging. What I think actually happens is they just get more boring, and get used to living the lazy rich life instead of making art. Em has never done this, so I expect the outcome to be different.

EDIT: Also, em has already solidified himself as permanently relevant. He will forever be the standard of successful hip-hop. I doubt his sales will ever be touched by any genre in the future. He will stay relevant the same way the beatles have for the past 50 years.

And honestly I hope Em finally gets all that anger off his chest that has helped him make so much music. I wouldn't wish that on him for what are supposed to be the best years of his life where he can retire and watch his family grow. Help Halie build a legacy of her own, whatever she chooses to do.

In all hip-hop history? You like some easy to digest shit. God I wish I didn't ever know you existed.. simple ass

The only time Royce is a shadow of Em is when Em stoops to his level and uses 8 punchlines per 16 bars.. lol

MCHG was the worst thing he's done since Kingdom Come. The only stuff any good on that album was Picasso Baby, Somewhere In America, Oceans, Heaven, and Crown IMO.

It sounded lazy, like Jay wasn't even feeling what he was saying. Album deserved an L for lyrics, yet XXL gave it a XXL for lyrics. Fucking stupid.
