Even the post above you didnt want to share their full story coz of this whole 'your a groupie' thing.
I stand by my last statement....GROW UP!

it's not really a story, but i've posted it a million times when i first started joing eminem message boards and started meeting other fans... ya know, like other fans that actually understood things and didn't resort to childish groupie comments... but uhh yeah, anywho...![]()
i didn't live a shitty childhood. i'm not gonna front on the net and act as if i was born in the streets. cuz i wasn't. i never related to eminem and the shit he talks about in his songs. i don't have a crazy mother and dead beat dad. granted, i didn't have the best relationship with my parents during a period in my life and it's not as if i grew up with endless money in my life... we did live on a budget. we still do strugle financially, but i don't consider myself really poor. i've always had food and cable tv and clothes and personal belongings and all that.
but there is one song, and it's my favorite, mind you, that really gets to me. it's the one song, one verse, that truly is parallel to me. the last verse of sing for the moment summed up a lot of shit i went through. which isn't a lot. it's just a couple of parents that can't understand shit. but whatever. it was still something that meant something to me, whether it was petty or not. when i heard that song... i was like "damn. em really knows. he realy fuckin knows." and i know a lot of people that have said the same thing. whether they relate to being a problem child in the house, having no dream but to become a rapper, or , like me, just not having anyone understand why you're such a big fan of hip hop music. i try to explain to my parents why i like it, how it's so moving and so creative and brilliant... i mean, they don't have to like it, but at least just try to accept why i like it. same thing with my other friends... i tell them "oh, i love hip hop" and they just think "oh, songs about hating women" blah blah blah... i mean, they don't know. the line "we're nothing to you... but we're the fucking shit in they're eyes!" that shit is so on point. people always say to me, "oh, you like eminem?" and just roll their eyes and whatnot. they think it's a phase and they don't understand. they just don't.
i don't know. that song means a lot to me. em means a lot to me. and i don't care what anyone says, nothing will change that. he's done too much shit and affected a lot of things in my life to just forget about him. even if he does retire, i'll still be a fan. what he does now or in the future will never change the things he did in the past. and he did A LOT in the past for me.
so there ya go. there is my little story, kids.lol
