Even the post above you didnt want to share their full story coz of this whole 'your a groupie' thing.

I stand by my last statement....GROW UP!

it's not really a story, but i've posted it a million times when i first started joing eminem message boards and started meeting other fans... ya know, like other fans that actually understood things and didn't resort to childish groupie comments... but uhh yeah, anywho... :flower:

i didn't live a shitty childhood. i'm not gonna front on the net and act as if i was born in the streets. cuz i wasn't. i never related to eminem and the shit he talks about in his songs. i don't have a crazy mother and dead beat dad. granted, i didn't have the best relationship with my parents during a period in my life and it's not as if i grew up with endless money in my life... we did live on a budget. we still do strugle financially, but i don't consider myself really poor. i've always had food and cable tv and clothes and personal belongings and all that.

but there is one song, and it's my favorite, mind you, that really gets to me. it's the one song, one verse, that truly is parallel to me. the last verse of sing for the moment summed up a lot of shit i went through. which isn't a lot. it's just a couple of parents that can't understand shit. but whatever. it was still something that meant something to me, whether it was petty or not. when i heard that song... i was like "damn. em really knows. he realy fuckin knows." and i know a lot of people that have said the same thing. whether they relate to being a problem child in the house, having no dream but to become a rapper, or , like me, just not having anyone understand why you're such a big fan of hip hop music. i try to explain to my parents why i like it, how it's so moving and so creative and brilliant... i mean, they don't have to like it, but at least just try to accept why i like it. same thing with my other friends... i tell them "oh, i love hip hop" and they just think "oh, songs about hating women" blah blah blah... i mean, they don't know. the line "we're nothing to you... but we're the fucking shit in they're eyes!" that shit is so on point. people always say to me, "oh, you like eminem?" and just roll their eyes and whatnot. they think it's a phase and they don't understand. they just don't.

i don't know. that song means a lot to me. em means a lot to me. and i don't care what anyone says, nothing will change that. he's done too much shit and affected a lot of things in my life to just forget about him. even if he does retire, i'll still be a fan. what he does now or in the future will never change the things he did in the past. and he did A LOT in the past for me.

so there ya go. there is my little story, kids. lol

very touching

The song that realy inspired me is The Way I Am- I can totaly relate to all the feelings in it, evan through the context is alien to me. It inspired me to do something worthwile with my anger.
Another song that influenced me is Rabbit Run. I can relate to it cos I'm a writer, I think that if Rabbit can overcome writers block them so can I.

"oh, i love hip hop" and they just think "oh, songs about hating women" blah blah blah... i mean, they don't know. the line "we're nothing to you... but we're the fucking shit in they're eyes!" that shit is so on point. people always say to me, "oh, you like eminem?" and just roll their eyes and whatnot. they think it's a phase and they don't understand. they just don't.

It's nice to know someone feels the same as me!

O Come on :) How could you trouble me with your shits???

When it comes to me, that shitty year I was talkin about, that was when me n my best friend/cousin were startin to drift apart, I was way younger though, we went from talkin about anythin to talkin less, to not talkin at all for like an ENTIRE YEAR, and he lives 2 hours away from me, it felt like shit, he also had a NEW friend, so basically i had lost him to a boy...they're not gay lol, n me n him were disgusted with each other, we didn't get along which only made it worse, OK IM writin a LOT, now we talk n all but it's like we're complete strangers n its still sad but shit happens right?..another thing...during that year in school i thought I was cursed, shit would piss me off, parents fightin, sister leavin...blagh! everything sucked! year 2000, i was ten

yo eminems music really helped. the last few months i went to a lotta fucked up shit.i really were depressed and this situation was really pissin me off ( it still does )

i couldnt handle this stuff , I often though of suicide and stuff.yeah this might sound dumb , whatever.i wouldnt say eminem stopped me to commit suicide but he really helped.when it seems everythings fucked up for me i get lost and listended to his songs. i cant describe it ; my englisch sucks too bad 4 that ..

well , thats the reason why i would like to meet him and try to tell him this stuff ; but hey who wouldnt. Its like this line in Stan

" I can relay to what youre saying in your songs , so when i have a shitty day,i drift away and put them on , cuz i dont really got shit else so this shit helps when im depressed..."

This is EXACTLY the
