Those similarities aren't really convincing. Quite obviously Em wasn't thinking of Holmes while writing it - he even may not know who that guy is. But the story of Holmes was fascinating and I like this thread since most of people only wanna express their opinion on how good or bad his new song is. At least this one had something more to it & was interesting too.

sometimes i think this song has too many good rhymes to be a true freestyle. i'm not doubting eminems talent at all, but can you honestly believe he spit this out in a freestyle?

but if it IS a true freestyle, props to eminem, i LOVE this song. crazy ass rhymer.

I'm sure it wasn't off the top of his head. people just call it a freestyle because it's short and has no chorus.
