Eminem did do some clever editing & made Pac say shit like "G-Unit" and other retarded shit.

listen to the original john elton song, and you'll notice that eminem chopped up a different part of the song and made it fit perfectly, i think it was the last part of the hook where he says

And peace to this young warrior without the sound of guns

i dont think that was part of the original hook but eminem cut that out from the verses and fit it in with the hook.
