Pretty possible to be honest... I think it'll stay close to 750k though. Still fucking amazing.

To be honest, I wanted him to at least sell 800 000 so his second week drop wouldn't be that big because I wanted him to block Lady Gaga but it won't happen.

I still think 800k is a possibility. The thing with Em is that he has fuckloads of casual fans that aren't watching his every move. Word of mouth means more people buy his album as the week progresses. It's possible Billboard/etc haven't taken this into account since most artists have a predictable sales pattern and it's hard to predict artists like Eminem. Either way, 750k is fucking amazing considering he doesn't have a full week to sell. He's also been away from the spotlight for 3 years, isn't doing aggressive promo and the market has continued to shrink every year. :worship:

They said Recovery will do 500k. It did 741k I think
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Pretty sure they count monday-sunday so he loses a day of sales.

So, if Em released on Friday, it'd never reach 700k :facepalm

They should count 7 days since release day. That's what makes sense.

I never figured that out either but they must have a good reason for it

Even if it only does 700-800k first week it will sustain. I believe it will spread like a wildfire. Over the course of 7 weeks recovery sold over 3.5M worldwide after its release. Even though it isn't that well respected on here the album did sustain sales.

I see you don't live in France..........
No, it's hopeless, I'm the denial that you're hopelessly in. When they say all of this is approaching its end. But you refuse to believe that it's over, here we go all over again.

I think it's cuz billboard posts their charts on Wednesdays... so releasing an album on a tuesday maximizes sales for billboard
