But I thought Evil Deeds and Never Enough were thought of as 'good' at least.

I think Encore > Recovery and it's not even close. I also thought Evil Deeds and Never Enough were generally regarded as being among Encore's good songs.

I feel like these songs are just slightly better than the worst ones

Nope, totally agree. While I have just joined as of recent... I think Encore gets too much shit for it having 4 bad tracks when the rest are okay to really good. Recovery is mostly a pile of meh songs. Tracks 1 - 6 felt straight like classic EM, I didn't mind Puke or Rain Man personally, My 1st Single, Big Weenie, Just Lose It and Ass Like that are bad I admit, after those four the rest of the tracks are good. I still don't get how it's considered such an awful album.

I'm not even gonna argue wich album is better. Ya'll are delusional tbh. As much as I hate songs like WBD and love the way you lie, it doesn't even get close to shit like my 1st single.

And never enough ? that shit sounds like it could have been a freestyle he'd drop for westwood or shit. The beat is as simple as it gets and everything about that songs screams mediocre.

The high points on Encore are fairly equal with the highs on Recovery. But the low pointd on Encore are much worse IMO. Oh and Never Enough is DOPE.

The highs are not even close tbh. Recovery shits on Encore in every way except production.

Never understood the love for Evil Deeds. Even if you ignore the first verse, it still is basically drugged up Eminem whining because "life ain't no fairy tail" (boo hoo :'() with trash lines like the "tush mull bish" line, and the godawful hook.

I highly disagree with this Like Toy Soldiers, Yellow Brick Road, Mosh, Spend Some Time, Encore and Mockingbird all are good enough to compete with some of the songs anyone of his albums, plus some of them can compete with some of the better songs on previous albums. Personal opinion here on this but I love all the previously mentioned songs xD Recovery has Cold Wind Blows, Going Through Changes, Almost Famous and maybe On Fire that I'd say can compete with some of the songs on his other albums. However I do agree the lows are much worse that I will give you.

To me it sounds a little like Kill You just with his more TES/Encore style beats and rapping, obviously it doesn't compete with Kill You though but it's still really good.

Nah. Kanye's worst album is Graduation and it's still good. Recovery blows.

I'm sorry if you think Graduation is his worst.

I'm not hyping up the worst album like it's good, because that would imply that I think that all of his discography is good but guess what I don't. Encore in my opinion is better then post Encore albums. I don't like the albums after Encore as much as Encore at all. Me saying his worst album is good would be me saying all his albums are 10/10. Listeners have the opportunity to decide what they want to listen to. Just because you disagree with me doesn't mean that I praise his albums like some sort of freaking worshipper. So tell me what's wrong with that?

You're doing the same thing as everyone else is, you disagree on Encore being better than some of his other discography and saying anyone is being a Stan because they think that one album is better then another is hypocritical. Also there's another huge difference, just because a songs better then one doesn't mean I enjoy it. Because then we'd be talking again about musical taste. I like Encore and I'm not changing my mind on that one. I'm not alone on this too as I know multiple other people who agree with me.
