I'm pretty surprised no one has suggested "Rap God" may have been dropped as a result of Lord Jamar's comments on white rappers. Em being white, clearly showed how dominant he can be in Hip-Hop with this song and seeing as his name is Lord Jamar and Em, a white rapper, is claiming to be a rap god.

Not that I think there is any relation but it is pretty cool to consider, lol.

I mean it might have something to do with that but I think it was just planned to balance out Survival & they didn't even expect it'll pick up commercially too. They most likely wanted it go along with Em's first 2 singles & at the same time to cool off that too much pop on the album talk. It blew up like crazy & they reacted fast though... I mean this is just my theory of course.

I really felt like Untitled off Recovery was just Em building up to a song like Rap God. It was experimental, just playing with words and an awesome flow. Sometimes i think that Untitled is the best song off the album purely because of how perfectly that song flowed. Sure it was all gibberish content but again it was Em practicing perfect flow.

I thought it was hilarious. He had this funny-ass, obnoxious voice when saying "understand the discrimination..", then, from what I pictured, he shook it off, and over-aggressively grunts "But fuck it", which I like to imagine that he was implying that he butt-fucked the situation, because he sounded like he was poking fun at the gay-folk before the line.
