Cause the shit I hear is crazy
But your either getting lazy or you don't believe in you no more
Seems like your own opinions, not one you can form
Cant make a decision you keep questioning yourself
Second guessing and its almost like your begging for my help

I think out of his 2010 songs only Not Afraid will withstand the test of time, LTYL will likely fade away once all these award shows shut the fuck up about it like Lady Gaga in 09. Other songs worth mentioning (in terms of popularity not personal opinion) are Till I Collapse, Mockingbird, Like Toy Soldiers & Beautiful.
Sing For The Moment, My Name Is & Without Me are greatly underrated by the general public which is a fucking shame because they're better than a lot of his more well known songs. SSLP seems to be underrated entirely by the masses & even placed under Encore :shakehead: .

How is my name is and without me underrated by the general public? Those two are one of his well known songs and were greatly received by the public so what do you mean

unfortunately most of the songs remembered 30 years from now are gonna be commercial bitch ass poppy songs. Like Not afraid,The Real slim shady,Love the way you lie. < Makes me puke.
just the fact, too much mainstream influence.

Ask anyone what songs they know by Eminem, unless they are a real Eminem fan they won't have ever heard of My Name Is or Without Me. They were popular when he released them in 99/02 but they're not popular now like TRSS

Are you talking about the fan base or the public...?

Both actually.

How many Eminem fans really love ALL the songs on those albums? And to be perfectly honest, I'm sure most Em fans haven't even heard SSEP.

I can guarantee your average fan wouldn't of heard of 'SSEP...'

The LTWYL bitches are the ones who I wanna talk to lmao. I haven't really met one yet, but I'm gonna ask her if she knows what even The Slim Shady LP is and when it came out. I guarantee she won't know lol. She probably wouldn't know The Marshal Mathers LP either

I can't wait to fucking laugh in her face lmao. Sounds evil, but hey, there's a Slim Shady in everyone

I just wanna sit one of those "LTWYL Stans" in front of a stereo and play 'TSSLP' and 'TMMLP' in front of them in their entirety.
Then yell at them for half an hour.

I think that it depends who the audience are in 50 years.

Like Stan and Lose Yourself for sure
TRSS and Not Afraid probably because there just to catchy.
Kill You and Kim might because of controversy.
Space Bound and LTWYL could because of their love appeal.
Sing For The Moment should.
And everything else well... who knows?

For people saying that some Eminem songs have a few outdated references, it doesn't matter.

They are time-capsules and representations of (insert year here)

"Hailies Song" is another track that is definitely timeless, but I'm not sure it will be 'popular' in 30 years lol

I reckon only Lose Yourself as far as general people goes. It has a message and a theme which can carry through generations. Pop songs like TRSS or Without Me just won't make sense to future generations. Maybe something like When I'm Gone.

As far as the rap community goes there will be 20 or 30 of his songs which are remembered by rap fans. If we look at other rappers like Tupac and Biggie they only have a few songs which most people would know of even now but most rap fans would know at least 20.

'Til I Collapse is his second best pump up song? What's his first? I say "Run Rabbit"
"This dude doing this interview wants me to spin a few,
Lyrics while I tie my tennis shoes in the nude
A romantic interlude in a livin’ room,
In an inner tube with a dude with a bit of lube
Fuck that I’m sniffin’ glue, sippin' gin & juice,
And a little bit of paint thinner with my dinner too,
You better pay me for my bars like your rent is due,
Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."
