Yelawolf sucks. Slaughterhouses album was OK at best.

The only people that have been legit is 50 and royce. And 50 is terrible now.

Without Eminem that shit would have went bankrupt years ago.

Royce was NEVER signed to Shady :tounge2:

He's not even signed now, as a solo artist. I think you mean Obie

He is signed as a part as slaughterhouse. And he will be as a solo artist as soon as he gets out of his contract....my point was that Stat Quo,Bobby Creekwater,Obie Trice,Cashis,d12 ALL SUCK.

The majority of Shady Records have been terrible.

50 was good for a while
Obie had a couple of good songs
I think Royce WILL be good.
Of course Eminem is good

It's just garbage really. And it won't save anything.

I really doubt Slaughterhouse is gonna be a successfully selling rap group...i don't expect their debut album to do more than 50k first week unless Eminem is on every other song (which won't happen)

I think Em just signed them outta respect

and for those hating on Obie, why don't you try and go platinum then come holla

I don't know what people are on about. Every album that has been released on Shady Records has contained some great music. There is a reason why Bobby Creekwater, and Stat Quo left without dropping an album.

Cashis is a good MC and I look forward to his album

Slaughterhouse might be on the radio for like a week or two, they'll get play on Shade 45... But c'mon you guys are dreaming if you think they are going to dominate the mainstream like Young Money. Crooked I saying he's going to rule radio for three summers, like are you kidding me? Yeah they sold 30k, but take in mind, that's FOUR fanbases. They aren't the second coming.

Yela probably has the only chance of blowing up ONLY if he tones down his accent.. Arena Rap EP is incredible, but he got screwed on for his album, sadly. I hope Eminem doesn't give him the Cashis treatment.

Yelawolf is terrible, he will not be successful anywhere else but the South.

You are under-estimating the power of Eminem Stans.

If Eminem tells everyone to buy Yelawolf's album, is heavily involved in promoting Yela..... and he is featured on a few tracks...it will fucking sell

Sadly, but I'd like to think that Yelawolf won't blow up too much.

I don't exactly think he's going to be like 50 Cent level, international superstar. (whether you think 50 has fallen off or not, you can't deny he is a big name.)

Times have changed! But with the right help, support and guidance from Eminem, Yelawolf could potentially go on to be a very successful artist in his own right.

He's already got a (small) fanbase way before he signed to Shady Records, and with all the new attention he is going to be getting, it's time to push it to the next level. Just needs that one single to pop it off.

I doubt many people will ever blow up like 50 did so I agree.

I know that Em could push both Slaughterhouse & Yelawolf to become successful but I think that SH is a way more marketable than Yelawolf. I mean, Joe Budden has major commercial appeal. Royce & Joell too (to a minor extent). Crooked is the most "underground" one but he's still more marketable. As a group, with em's guidance they can blow up with a hit similar "The One". Yelawolf is as some have said an acquired taste that most (from what I've seen) don't usually have.

Anyways, I don't like Yelawolf so I would prefer to keep this mindstate :coffee:

Anything Eminem touches turns to gold so..
It will most likely be one of his best moves in a business sense.
More money, respect, rappers, producers and friends.
