I thought the same thing, briefly, but i realized its just cause im older. When Kim came out I was 10 or 11 years old, so any curse or vulgar word I was big deal to me, but now that I'm 21, its just 'nothing.' If Kim was released originally today, I would think 'wow, he is pissed' and move on. I enjoy the dark humor on HTS, but that 'omg, shock value' isnt there. By now, we know what he is capable of so it isnt such a surprise

He still manages 2 shock the hell out of me, however it's totally in a different way now. It's more his sincerity, and genuine feel ya value that shocks me. He's put himself totally out there, especially the track on Recovery where he's missin Proof. That was very intense and emotional, then he can flip a script in a second with something like so Bad, or spacebound. He's very versatile now, kinda bi- polar in a good way. He's also learned humility, which often just comes with age and time. Never gave his music a minute back in the day, now I guess u can say I'm kinda, sorta, a newbie fan.

he is soft. back then he was a risky, balls out, take no shit type of guy, who had the freestyle after freestyle, punch after punch, work your ass off to get here mentality as well. Now he does verses with that fag Lil Wayne. I think he does a lot of it to be respected again and just cause he's off the drugs, and he said he wanted to work with new talent on Recovery, that's why he switched it up. But to me that doesn't mean you have to make poppy music when you work with new artists, that's just him now. I haven't fully accepted it, but oh well.
