Compare his apparent godly diss track "Ether" to say... "Bully"... Nas' disses are tantamount to a child's in the playground - gay puns and very generic insults; his actual ideas and disses aren't even that strong, it's just the way it's delivered / flows and rapped...

Compared to Em who psychologically dismantles the people he beefs with like Freud rapping.

That's just one example, Em is far, far better in every regard - he's more clever, more witty, better rhymes, better structure, more flows and better flows, powerful delivery, more powerful ideas, better humour - just much lyrically stronger in every regard.

Nas is a great lyricist and I'm a fan but he's definitely not #1. Many corny and generic elements.

The reason for his diss not being as "powerful" as Bully is because his beef with Jay-Z was NOWHERE near as personal and potentially violent as Em vs Benzino/Murder Inc. Wasn't Em wearing a fucking vest under his clothes when performing or going out in public?

It doesn't matter, Nas doesn't have the capability to dismantle somebody in the way Em did.

Em truly gets to the personal root of someone, Nas is a much more generic and plain-jane lyricist.

And that's just one example...

But you can take one verse off MMLP and find more inventiveness, originality, wit and wonderful lyricism than in anything Nas has ever spit. It's a different level of creativity.

Would rather it be Nas then anyone else, tbh. At least they give Em his dues.
