that was hot. and to be honest it didn't really matter what em said he was still gonna be hot just cos it was a surprise appearance...i think the only two who performed their verses well was papoose and eminem. the rest just screamed lol

anywho, i agree with dani and shadyluva and theunit.

there's certain people on here (and i ain't namin names) that when em does shit, they look at the negative side first. like with the performance! that shit was dope! do not tell me that performance was not entertaining. and yet, you guys come and immediately mention that his verse was wack, he's done better. fucking christ, lay off. it's a fun song, don't ruin it with the negative comments.

whenever i say those people are hatin, they automatically claim they're still fans, just being real. well, no one being real will constantly nit pick everything em does and critic every little thing he does wrong. i find some people on here makin up excuses if they so as much mention they still listen to eminem, actin as if it's a bad thing, so they gotta make up a good reason to listen to his songs.

i could not agree more with that.....nice one! yeh that em verse and the whole thing was amazin.....if i had seen that live i would of gone nuts!

fixed version,real:

As I combine all the juice on my mind
Kill 'em kill 'em get me back on the line
Powerful impact move on the track, contact
Shady, guess who's back
Everybody in the place take a look at the face
I dissapeared without a trace u don't know how i did it
Oh yea, new year, who's here, new kid, whoo kid's, spooky ahhhhhh
Ima bout to scream at the top of my lungs
And I don't even know why I'm screamin ahhh ahhh ahhh ahh
And I'm screamin on the wrong part of the song
Marshall did it again, let's turn it up more
Let's turn it up loud let 'em know we ain't playin
And I don't even know what the chorus is sayin
Touch it bring it bay-be
Skibbity beep bob Busta BIG BANG!!!

and when i say that people hate, i don't mean like HATE to the full extent.

i was just sayin that some people are so quick to point out the negative and what em does wrong.

like with this performance, the first thing i heard some people say were "it wasn't a great verse" or something like that. now why the hell would someone mention that? especially since the show was AMAZING and possibly one of the best (if not the best) of the night.

its typical thread conversations...

People start saying "ohh the verse was fucking hot" or something, then people say "nah it was an average verse .. not so great" ...

I mean seriously, u gotta learn not to catch feelings over shit that has absolutely no meaning. I went on d12world earlier... and there I REALLY saw wat ur talking bout.. were to hate on something eminem does is "cool" .. it might be like that sometimes, but sometimes its just opinion, and because u get pissed off about it, u notice that very easily and keep complaining how "they" hate. Aint nothing wrong with the feedback that there was on this board to the show, 99% person recognised the symvolics of the peromance and feel enlightened but little they have recieved from it, the 1% left simply forgot to post.

and by the way tru... this is a thread discussing the lyrics from the performance.... OFCOURSE people are gonna judge the lyrics...

-_-

(speaking on lyrics)
Hip hop is a love hate relationship, ya gotta love it first, hate it for a bit then fall back in love with it to feel even better bout it. Right now people dont know wat to feel and wat to expect so the comments and the feedback would naturaly be different.

i admit i nit pick at his lyrics some times but its cause im way into lyricism and i do usually judge a song on what the lyrics are cause i dont really just litsen i actually sit back and see what the verse is saying but thats just me, i loved the performance and im glad em is back on the stage...people do go through lyrics more then me tho cause i personally thought Fack was funny just for the fact of the crazy shit he was saying and how he still could piss people off. for a short while people hated on that song non stop while i was the one of the few who liked it and i dont care what people say i think its just hilarious on how pissed people got. people expect to much from him and i admit again some times i do too.

props for the lyrics it was hard to understand some of it
i thought em's verse was amazing
my only regret is not watching it live, like others said i probably too would have been going nuts
overall this has to be in the top 5 of his performances because of all the shit he went through before it, and how surprised the audience was when he appeared
i've been dying for some new material from him, and i now have something that will last a couple of days
I'm just glad to see that he's actually gonna perform agian lol
people are complaining that the verse sucked, well what if he didn't perform at all, what if he never showed his face at the BET Awards, what would you guys be saying then "oh it sucked i wish em was there"
well guess what he performed and the performance was way above par
and i can't wait for
The RE-UPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm not talking about lyrics!

i'm not talking about em's lyrical skill and all that...

i'm talking about how some people just look at the negative first. maybe it was just casual thread conversation, but i always get the impression (from the same people) that the first thing they mention about eminem is always negative.

like this performance. "his verse wasn't great." okay, maybe it wasn't but it's not even about that. i just don't understand why people gotta shit on other people's parades with irrelevant comments. it was so obvious that his performance wasn't about lyrical ability or any of that... but just shock factor and energy and hype.

i feel like i'm repeating myself here... :( forget it. :zipped:

Wat fuckkk are u talking about...
Out of curiocity i just checked all the BET threads again and on in every thread the first 3 pages are are people praising the show.. and NOBODY is bringing the negative into the threads, the only thread that ever dicussed the lyrical side of the performance was this thread..
Please point me to the threads and the posts if im wrong.

i think tru is talkin about people in this thread were saying negative comments about his verse like "its not his best" or the "verse was alright" but i dont really get why its such a big deal since this was a thread to discuss ur opinion on the lyrics but maybe its something else i dont know. and besides things like saying the verse was alright is not really negative anyways so

i just dont see a reason truemfan is saying wat shes saying.. there is no negative view on this show so far on this board...

shes either paranoid about every single word said or she needs to stop overreacting.

Yes... so I can still respect him as a rapper.

danigantt wrote:all im saying is.. here is em's nuts (oo)... and it's okay to back away from them for about 5.. or 10 minutes...

Ok, then do it for at least five minutes.
"I'm glad I inspire you but Stan
why are you so mad? Try to understand, that I do want you as a fan"

LOL @ you getting mad just because I don't like his verse.

His verse sucked. That's my opinion. It's a forum where you can share your opinion with others. I'm sorry if I offended you.

yo in my opinion , his verse didnt suck

his verse did what it was meant to do, hype the crowd up , give them the energy, and it was obiously a freestyle, he did not write that,

anyway fuck it, you got opinions , everybody got them i even got two opinions,

it's not about the verse. lyrically, i don't think the whole touch it remix is that great.

granted, MJB isn't a rapper so she's excused, but dmx and missy and banks have all done better verses. agreed? yes.

it's not about the lyrical content when it comes to that song. it's the deliverance and the visuals. i love how busta had different colors in the video, and how each verse started off softly, and ended up screamin and wilin out.

that's what made the performance so memorable. and the fact that em even came out (completely unexpected) was the icing on the cake. it was great show without em, em just brought it to a different level.

psssh... y'all need to quit hatin. ask anyone who watched the show, busta fuckin saved the bet awards.

damon wayans was a joke, beyonce was not up to par... so many things went wrong this year.

damn you're always right!....i know what i think, but can't write them up :confusion: ...but you can do it so good....i know what i wanna say, but when i have to WRITE it i forget what i wanted to say :sweating: ...
