Powerhouse of an album.

Cinderella Man, Almost Famous, No Love, LTWYL, certified classics.

The individual songs are OK, but the album and how cohesive it is is bad.

"Going Through Changes" is a definite classic. Some other songs are well written but they're held back by some terrible puns. "Not Afraid" would have been a GREAT song had Em chosen NOT to add in those filler puns.

Edit: I shouldn't really say "falling off" as it implies he's lost his ability to write/rap like Relapse (he hasn't). He just chooses to rap poorly.

I agree with you on many things. This is absolute bullshit. Recovery was a fucking low point that Em had to take before transitioning into awesome-state i.e. Hell: The Sequel, Cypher.

We can say it seemed as if it was a desperate attempt to stay afloat.

Recovery was a breath of fresh air. I think people expected something very generic out of the Album, but were shocked and it took time to sink in. Not much, but less as compared to Relapse. People didn't know what 'em. If Recovery was bad, it wouldn't have nominated in so man categories. Doesn't matter the no of Awards grabbed, it was satisfying.

Critics don't really acclaim Lil Wayne new albums tbh

It's Eminems worst album besides D12 World. Not the best album of 2010. Here are a few hip-hop albums that where better:
Army Of The Pharaohs - The Unholy Terror
Blockhead - The Music Scene
Busdriver - Computer Cooties
Camu Tao - King Of Hearts (even tho it's old unreleased material)
Celph Titled & Buckwild - Ninteen Ninty Now
Diabolic - Liar & A Thief
Earl Sweatshirt - EARL
Hock Tu Down - Prozium Peddlin
Hopsin - Raw
Jakprogresso - B23
King Gordy - Xerxes The God King
Rhyme Asylum - Solitary Confinement

You get the idea... There are alot more but that'll do it for now.
