Could you guys imagine if it was sick enough to leave people like us even debating whether or not it is as good as MMLP?

There's something about Berzerk... He's not saying all that much in it but maybe that's saying a lot.

Something about Berzerk makes me desperately want to hear the rest of the album. The attitude he has behind his words... It really does have that old MMLP feel where you just want to hear what else he has to say.

He could rap about how much he enjoys a peanut butter sandwich or something with that voice and the album would be fucking awesome.

For all of these years, I thought he truly forgot what made him incredibly awesome... the MMLP style. Not the SSLP style as it is implied in ''Careful What you Wish For.'' The fucking MMLP style is what made him... not simply awesome like the SSLP, but on a whole different planet.

I don't think any of us expected that for all of these years, he's still known exactly how to replicate that incredible style. It was always like he was going for the SSLP or TES sound.

I dunno this post is getting redundant. My bad guys. I'm fucking psyched.

He knows he has to make songs on the level of ''Criminal'' , ''Kim'', ''Stan'' , ''The way I am'' ''Amityville'' , ''Marshall Mathers''

He knows that they have to be at least comparable to those songs. He probably came up with the title of the album AFTER creating some of the music... which means he probably truly believes that his new stuff can stack up. It won't be as good as MMLP... but the fact that Eminem thinks it's close enough to deserve such a title is fucking exciting.

His delivery & attitude on berzerk is fucking exciting. No one can doubt that THAT is the real Eminem. THAT is the slim shady that everyone missed. Not the seemingly-fabricated and non-emotionally invested Relapse persona (Don't get me wrong... I love Relapse... but his delivery implies that he's not emotionally invested in the bizarre shit.) but the real, raw fucking old Eminem.

For people like us... For the people that have SERIOUSLY been anticipating the new Eminem album... it can't get much better than this.

Listen to berzerk and tell me it doesn't seem like he's ready to blow the doors off... Not so much in regards to lyrical skill... but his presentation. His mannerisms. He's found himself... He's comfortable and he's about to tear this motherfucking roof off.

He put out all those trust shady shirts and stuff, id imagine he has spent 3 years making one of the best hip hop albums ever and its gonna blow us all away. Then again, he could have made a mistake in calling it MMLP2 and this album will just be ammo for all the faggots saying he has fell off.

That's what gets me hyped and makes me confident about this album. I know he'll deliver.

I'll be glad if:

Some people hate Survival, some people hate Berzerk, and some people were saying that Em made the second verse in Berzerk bad on purpose, what if this was his plan, give us two songs that you feel iffy about. Then have his second single release which will be Raw as shit where he just tears the fucking roof off the place.

People are stupid. It only matters what your ears tell you. Mine says potential classic.

Em set the bar high for himself because he had to. He needed a challenge. Hip hop was basically dead, there was no challenge. Everyone was on his nuts. He thrives off of a challenge. Making a sequel to arguably his best work is about the biggest challenge he could have.

I love Berzerk, but seriously, I don't want a whole album that sounds like it.

I can see people will focus on the title and not on the content. At least for some months.
I'm out of the matrix and I improved my music taste here, I opened my eyes and discovered so different ways to see the world, thanks to you all!

It won't trust me. For the MMLP his first single was The Real Slim Shady, and it sounded nothing like the rest of the album.

I don't expect it to be like MMLP. Of course, not better, I think it's impossible nowadays he makes something better/as good as MMLP.
But with that name I'd expect something at least very good...
The name of the album was exactly why I decided to open the forum again. Since I stopped bein a fan like I used to, I didn't really care much; I'd just listen to the CD when it came out and check if it's any good. It was that name which made me open TR and see what was all this bout. What's been said and what people think, what's came out and all.
So far , imo Berzerk sucks. So maybe I got excited for nothing. I hope the rest of the album has at least a 5-6 worth songs

it's risky naming his new album MMLP2, but I sincerely hope it will live up to the expectations.
