Could you guys imagine if it was sick enough to leave people like us even debating whether or not it is as good as MMLP?
There's something about Berzerk... He's not saying all that much in it but maybe that's saying a lot.
Something about Berzerk makes me desperately want to hear the rest of the album. The attitude he has behind his words... It really does have that old MMLP feel where you just want to hear what else he has to say.
He could rap about how much he enjoys a peanut butter sandwich or something with that voice and the album would be fucking awesome.
For all of these years, I thought he truly forgot what made him incredibly awesome... the MMLP style. Not the SSLP style as it is implied in ''Careful What you Wish For.'' The fucking MMLP style is what made him... not simply awesome like the SSLP, but on a whole different planet.
I don't think any of us expected that for all of these years, he's still known exactly how to replicate that incredible style. It was always like he was going for the SSLP or TES sound.
I dunno this post is getting redundant. My bad guys. I'm fucking psyched.
He knows he has to make songs on the level of ''Criminal'' , ''Kim'', ''Stan'' , ''The way I am'' ''Amityville'' , ''Marshall Mathers''
He knows that they have to be at least comparable to those songs. He probably came up with the title of the album AFTER creating some of the music... which means he probably truly believes that his new stuff can stack up. It won't be as good as MMLP... but the fact that Eminem thinks it's close enough to deserve such a title is fucking exciting.
His delivery & attitude on berzerk is fucking exciting. No one can doubt that THAT is the real Eminem. THAT is the slim shady that everyone missed. Not the seemingly-fabricated and non-emotionally invested Relapse persona (Don't get me wrong... I love Relapse... but his delivery implies that he's not emotionally invested in the bizarre shit.) but the real, raw fucking old Eminem.
For people like us... For the people that have SERIOUSLY been anticipating the new Eminem album... it can't get much better than this.
Listen to berzerk and tell me it doesn't seem like he's ready to blow the doors off... Not so much in regards to lyrical skill... but his presentation. His mannerisms. He's found himself... He's comfortable and he's about to tear this motherfucking roof off.
