No I don't think anyone will ever like Recovery more than MMLP2 lol.

All I know is when Recovery came out people enamored it. In 6 months, people will change their minds about MMLP2 and think it aged poorly. They will say they need a better album, something fresh. I'm already saying it. In fact this album will age as bad as Recovery and people will not think MMLP 2 is good. It's not good. It's trash. It's as bad as Recovery. When Recovery came out, people loved Talkin To myself, CWB, Never Over, etc

I stand by the tracks ranging from good-incredible...

And I always found the production terrible; the bad lyricism was evident but I considered it a few throwaway lines which didn't effect the overall end result much. That changed a little more as excitement wore off but the production became a bigger problem.

Obviously you're more excited when the music is new, so I didn't equate the flaws the same in that excited period - but if you find other posts from that time period I'm sure you'll see many of me criticizing various things too.

The album has always been highly flawed - clumsy lyricism, abysmal production... but obviously you go through back and forth periods for a while in that initial 'settling' of the material. So it doesn't really mean much to pick out a coupla posts where I was overly excited about it... because I'm sure you could find many where the opposite was true.
